Glass Chutney Jars
Our chutney jars are perfect for storing jams, cooking sauces, pickled veg, honey, herbs and spices, as well as chutneys and preserves. All of our glass jars come with metal twist off lids, which are rubber lined to prevent leakage and to ensure that your chutneys stay as fresh as the day they were made.
As well as chutney jars, we have large glass pickle jars that are great for storing and displaying products such as pickled eggs, pickled onions and gherkins.
Sizes Available
Our glass chutney jars and pickle jars are available in the following sizes: 212ml, 284ml, 370ml, 16oz and half gallon. Pick the perfect size for your product, whether you want to pickle or preserve.
Lid Options
Twist off lids come as standard for our glass chutney jars and pickle jars. All of our twist off lids require a quarter twist to tighten and release. They contain s rubber seal, which prevents leakage, preserves freshness and creates an airtight seal around the jar neck. The seals also makes our jars suitable for storing acidic foods, such as pickles and vinegars.
Sterilising Glass Chutney Jars
Sterilising our glass jars is easy! After washing, place the jars on a metal tray. Ensure that no jars are touching each other, then place the tray of jars in the oven for 10 minutes at 180 degrees. For the lids, place them in boiling water and simmer for 10 minutes. Please take care when handling and removing the jars and lids whilst hot.
