Customer Success Stories – You Share Your Photos!

We absolutely love seeing all the creative and wonderful things that happen to our jars and bottles after they leave our warehouse, as looking at row after row of empty bottles each day does lose its appeal. So last week, we asked our lovely customers to send in some photos of their finished products so we could admire and show them off for you and we’ve been overwhelmed by the response! We apologise that we have not been able to feature all the photos we have been sent, but here is a wide selection of our favourite customer success stories!

Imagination Station

imagination station mcr 200ml clear PET plastic jar

Who knew you could turn a simple plastic jar into something so beautiful? Well the brains behind Imagination Station have done just that. They’ve used our 200ml Clear PET Plastic Jars to create these stunning works of art that are actually holding slime kits within! We don’t even know where to start with the sheer amount of work and skill it would take to make just one of these pots, so we take our hats off to you. Definitely one of the most unusual customer photos we’ve ever been sent!

Thanks to Sarah Bleasdale for sending these photos in.

Kamila Aubre Botanical Perfume

From the visual exuberance to understated style; Kamila Aubre Botanical Perfume uses our 15ml Ace Glass Fragrance Bottles to bottle parfum extracts, which are traditionally made in small splash bottles. We think the simple, yet beautiful labels that these bottles are branded with add to the luxurious look of the finished product.

No Frills Cosmetics’ products are completely natural and designed for sensitive skin and not tested on animals. But the best thing about these cosmetics? These hand and body washes wouldn’t look out of place on the shelves of The Body Shop or Boots, but they are in fact made by Big Green Tree Natural Skincare who are based on the edge of the Peak District in Derbyshire! Using our 150ml and 250ml Square PET Bottles and lotion pumps, they have created this sleek, stylish range of skincare products to keep Britons moisturised. Thanks to Laura Burton for sending these photos in.

Birch Lea Soaperie

Nothing says rustic like the branding and labels that Birch Lea Soaperie have used on their fantastic sugar scrubs and body butters! Instead of simply sticking an adhesive label on, they’ve gone the extra mile and used string to tie their labels around the 200ml Clear Wide Neck PET Plastic Jars, which perfectly suits the handmade nature of the products. We love it and I’m sure their customers do too!

Thanks to Leanne Seymour for sending these photos in.

The Little Blue Hen Soap Crafting Company

Dandy Candies

The retro sweets that Dandy Candy sell offer their customers a nostalgic look back at their own childhoods! We absolutely love the old-school branding of the jars and the clever lollipop logo, and they even give customers to option to add a personalised message if they are sending sweets as a gift. Customers apparently love the look of the shine of the jar and the foil on the labels, which is very eye catching. Get the look yourself with our range of Plastic Sweet Jars!

Thanks to Sammie Key for sending in these photos.

Rainflower

Rainflower offers a wide range of products, including soaps, candles, hair care products and even gardening gifts! For their range of hand creams, Rainflower use our 50ml and 100ml PET Plastic Jars paired with aluminium lids, which are finished off with a lovely floral label on the lid.

Thanks to Sandra Robertson for sending these photos in.

Singleton Skincare

These beautiful cosmetics and candles are from Singleton Skincare, a producer of home and beauty items. We love the simple, yet distinctive, logo that is embossed across the whole range of products, which when combined with the mellow pastel colours of the labels, makes for a very attractive brand! Singleton Skincare has used our Aluminium Jars, Glass Votives and Plastic Lip Balm Tubes to package the products seen above.

Thanks to Sarah Singleton for sending these photos in.

K Tang

Last, but certainly not least, we have London-based K Tang; which is packaged in our 180ml Clear Plastic Squeezer Bottles. K Tang is a ketchup made using kimchi, a traditional Korean pickled vegetable side dish, which gives it a distinctive tang that is perfect for burgers, chips and avocado (apparently)! We think the design of the logo fits K Tang’s young, alternative target market down to a tee!

The Many Wonderful Uses Of Glass Jars!

Think that jars are only for selling food in? Think again! The humble jar is a versatile object that, when you use your imagination, can be transformed into many wonderful things and have many fantastic uses! From presenting your food in unusual ways, to creating stunning household display items, we’ve got some great ideas on how you can use your empty glass jars in an eco-friendly way that you can enjoy.

Layered Salads

Let’s start with a twist on the traditional use of jars: food storage. Why not use your empty glass jars to store your lunches for work by creating delicious-looking, colourful, layered salad pots? They’re so simple to make, easy to store in your fridge and let’s face it, they just look great! As well as layered salads, why not make a impression at dinner parties by serving up your posh puddings in mason jars? They’re perfect for soft, layered desserts that are eaten with a spoon such as Eton Mess, chocolate mousse, jelly and tiramisu, just to name a few.

Or if you’re more of a traditionalist, you can always simply use glass jars to store all your homemade jams and preserves. Luckily, we’ve got plenty of yummy preserve recipes that you can try out at home!

Jazz Up Your Jam!

Mini Terrariums

With just a little soil, a little water, a little sunlight and a little love, you can create your own miniature garden! Whether you’re a keen gardener who doesn’t have the outdoor space or someone who wants to grow their own herbs in your kitchen, glass jars are a great place to start. If you grow small plants in your glass jars, they make fantastic display items for your mantelpieces and windowsills. If you use them to grow herbs such as basil, parsley and thyme in, then you’ll have plenty of fresh produce right on hand to use in your recipes (and you’ll save some money on your shopping bill)!

Find a handy tutorial on how to make a mini terrarium at Makezine.com.

Extra Storage

Putting food aside, a glass jar is an ideal storage solution for small items such as buttons, pins and paperclips, even batteries! Instead of having a traditional ‘man drawer’, full of odd bits and bobs, why not get organised and separate these items out into handy jars? They would be on display so you’d never have to root around a drawer and wonder where anything is ever again! We’re thinking sewing kits, jewellery and any other tricky little objects.

Candle Jars

Glass jars are the ideal vessel for displaying simple tea lights and posh candles to brighten up your living space. There’s nothing better than having some candles burning while you’re snuggled up on the sofa in autumn/winter time! You could even just grab some fairy lights instead of a candle, place the lights in your glass jar, close the lid (leaving the plug hanging out obviously) then turn on the switch. You’ll have a shining ball of light that isn’t a fire hazard! Our range of Le Parfait Jars are absolutely ideal for this and, with no minimum order, you can get as many or as little as you want!

Glass is a durable material that can be used for both indoor and outdoor lighting and can be reused time and time again! You could also use a stylish votive if a glass jar with a lid isn’t doing it for you.

Packaging Gifts And Favours

Looking for unique party or wedding favour? Give a personalised memento that your guests can treasure for a long time to come by filling a glass jar with little trinkets from the day. These could include table name cards, confetti, cufflinks, earrings and a photo-booth strip from the event. Get creative!

Feeling romantic? A great little gift idea for Christmas, birthdays and Valentine’s Day is to fill a jar full of post-it notes which each give a reason why you love the other person. They can take one note from the jar a day and, if you can get imaginative, you can keep this going for a full year!

Finally, you could use your glass jars for what they were originally designed for: jams and preserves. If you’ve made your own homemade jam, marmalade, chutney or relish, you can turn them into sweet little gifts for friends and family to enjoy. Just add a lovely personalised label and tie a fancy ribbon around the jar and voilà!

glass candle jars

There’s just something special about candles that we can’t put our fingers on. Whether it’s summer or winter, spring or autumn, you can use candles all around your house and garden in many ways: to relax in the bath, to use as a light source, to use as a fragrance and even just for decorative purposes! Whether you are packaging small tea lights, medium sized candles or even larger centrepiece candles, we’ve got a selection of great glass candle jars for you. All of our glass candle jars are suitable for hot fill and are just waiting to be filled with your candle mixtures!

Classic Glass Candle Jars

For slightly larger candles, our range of classic glass candle jars are ideal. They are chunky, with heavy bases that make them difficult to break or fall over, and come in 3 different sizes: 15oz, 22oz and 31oz. They all come complete with glass lids that are lined with rubber to lock in your candle fragrance until it is opened. These jars are sure to add extra perceived quality to your brand, allowing you to increase your product price and grow your business! If Yankee Candle can do it, why not you?

An added benefit of our Classic Glass Candle Jars is that they have large surface areas, making it easy for you to add your branded stickers and make your candle collection stand out from the crowd.

Table Centrepieces

Why not create a real statement piece in your candle collection by filling large jars such as our 57cl Glass Bubble Bowl. It would make a fantastic, unique centrepiece to place on tables both at home and in restaurants! Prices start from £2.95 per unit, but can be as cheap as £1.99 each when bought in bulk. We also have the Flat Glass Dish, which has a lower profile that would also look fantastic if it was filled with potpourri or decorated pebbles.

How To Make Your Own Candles At Home

Fancy trying your hand at candle making? It’s easier than you might think!

What you’ll need:

  • A wax of your choice (paraffin wax, soy wax, beeswax…)
  • Wicks
  • Glass jars
  • Fragrance of your choice
  • Oil based colouring (if needed)
