Taste the Mediterranean – new Marasca bottles

 

Our new glass Marasca bottles look as good as they sound. Instantly recognisable and widely used throughout the food industry, Marasca bottles will provide an authentic look for infused olive oils, dressings and sauces. They’re available in a choice of sizes, from 100ml capacity, which is a nice taster size for gift sets, up to 250ml and 500ml, ideal for selling luxury cooking oils in or serving condiments at restaurant tables.

 

Although traditionally used for olive oils, our glass Marasca bottles offer a strong, reliable packaging option for many other cooking oils and condiments. They can be used for a wide range of oils (such as sesame, flax, avocado, chili, garlic or rosemary infused), as well as dressings and sauces (pesto, balsamic, vinaigrette, caesar, blue cheese, sweet onion) and marinades too (barbecue, spicy chili, mustard, creamy garlic and herb).

 

 

Made from quality glass and square in shape, Marasca bottles will give a professional appearance to oils and sauces – perfect for displaying on supermarket shelves, at food markets, delicatessens and artisan shops. Any decent restaurant table would not be complete without a Marasca bottle filled with infused oil, chili sauce or balsamic vinegar, to add flavour and texture to a variety of dishes. Alternatively, our Marasca bottles can be hidden away for home cooking or used in busy kitchens, where the magic happens.

 

Each Marasca bottle comes with a 31.5mm tamper evident black screw cap, which helps to prevent contamination and reassure the end user that the product has not been tampered with. The cap comes with a pourer insert, which helps to control the dispensing of oils and dressings and helps to keep the neck of the bottle clean. If you don’t require the pourer insert due to the consistency of your product, the insert can easily be removed by hand.

 

 

Recipe idea: rosemary infused olive oil

Rosemary flavoured oil is the perfect accompaniment to many Italian dishes. It’s really easy to make and would be a tasty addition to any kitchen. The oil should last a few months and needs to be stored in the fridge once opened.

Ingredients: 500ml of quality olive oil and 7 sprigs of fresh rosemary.

Directions: warm the olive oil in a pan over a low heat for a few minutes; wash then dry the sprigs of rosemary; put the rosemary in a 500ml Marasca bottle (don’t forget to sterilise it first) then pour the warm olive oil in the bottle (through a funnel); screw the cap on tightly then store the bottle in a cool dark place.
