Our 30 Litre (approx. 6 gallons) Fermentation Bucket is an essential part of the brewing process thanks to its semi-transparent nature and the handy measurements that are printed on the side of the bucket. This bucket is made from polypropylene copolymer (PPC) plastic which is very well regarded for it’s strong, impact-resistant properties. This type of plastic is also lightweight! It’s the perfect bucket for home brewing as the plastic can be drilled easily drilled if you need to add your own airlock and it is a food-grade approved container. The fermentation bucket comes complete with a protective food-grade push-on lid and a strong metal handle with easy-grip roller handle, which makes it easier to decant and carry your favourite brew without spilling a drop!
Our plastic measuring bucket is semi-transparent allowing users to easily view the product fill level, whilst the side markings help with volume measurements and make filling accurately easy work. We’ve all been there, right? You’ve added a few of pints of water, but then your concentration dips and now you can’t actually remember how many pints it was you added… was it 10 or 12? The bucket has a wide opening of approximately 358mm, which makes it easy for you to give it a quick and easy clean. It’s a fermentation bucket that you can use time and time again! We do however recommend that when cleaning the bucket after use, you should only wipe it down with a soft cloth (never steel wool). The bucket is suitable for wine fermentation using fresh, frozen or dried fruit, beer brewing, cider making, making mead and fermenting sugar wash for distillation.
